Chrysanthemun: one of the "Four Gentlemen" in China

Author: WANG Ling   Editor: General Office   November 16, 2016

The chrysanthemum is favored by the Chinese people and bears the symbol of nobility. In ancient China it was revered for its exquisite beauty and has long been considered as elegance, long life and fidelity. The face of the latest minting of the one Yuan coin is the Chrysanthemum.

The chrysanthemum exhibition in CCNU is held. An array of chrysanthemum flowers of various colors and shapes are displayed. You have a multitude of options when you go to the exhibition. As a landscaping plant, the chrysanthemum embodies the vivid color of the autumn,

I built my hut in a zone of human habitation,

Yet near me there sounds no noise of horse or coach.

Would you know how that is possible?

A heart that is distant creates a wilderness round it.

I pluck chrysanthemums under the eastern hedge,

Then gaze long at the distant summer hills.

The mountain air is fresh at the dusk of day:

The flying birds two by two return.

In these things there lies a deep meaning;

Yet when we would express it, words suddenly fail us.
