Author: WANG Ling Editor: General Office October 17, 2016
Osmanthus, or sweet olive, is known for its rich aroma and commonly found in CCNU. The flower blossoms between Septembers to October. Traditionally, it symbolizes love and romance, smells warm and has high ornamental value.
When you walk from the main gate to the Administration Building, you will be surrounded by the sweat air and touched by the floral attraction to bend your head to sniff. The plant is very much welcomed in CCNU. This year, CCNU held the first Osmanthus Festival during which plentiful of activities were set. Osmanthus becomes a cultural icon.
The autumn in CCNU is attractive. The breeze carries the romantic scent and the autumn flowers are in their full blossom. I trust in nature for the stable laws of beauty and utility. It is all about calmness, elegance and dazzling display of colors.
