November 7 is the Beginning of Winter in China, according to the 24 solar terms. Winter is the coldest season in one year. The days are short and outdoor conditions are less favorable, so people prefer to stay indoors to protect themselves from the grim weather.    

Winter is dark, cold and misty. But when snow falls, the world listens.

There's a gleam of green in an old bottle,  

There's a stir of red in the quiet stove,

There's a feeling of snow in the dusk outside --

What about a cup of wine inside?
